About
Supporting communities, and the people who build them
I joined Enterprise Nation as employee number five in February 2018. Since then I've helped grow it into the UK's largest small business community: 180,000+ members, 50+ staff and over £5M in public sector contracts, while holding ISMS, compliance and government relationship responsibilities across both Enterprise Nation and Impact Nation.
Before that, my career moved through legal tech, edtech and adtech startups. LawyerFair (acquired by Linkilaw), Appdopt, Euromoney and Metal Bulletin, and E-Careers. That's where I learned that the unglamorous operational and relationship work behind a business is usually the actual job, whatever the title says.
Alongside Enterprise Nation I run Life in Product, a community for product professionals, and founded SustainableTech.ai. I hold a postgraduate qualification in Product Management from King's College London and a BA in Film Studies and English from Roehampton.
The work I'm proudest of is Girls in Movement, the not for profit I founded, now reaching 22,000+ girls across 25 countries through school visits, a podcast and a children's book series, The Girl and Her Globe. It started with my grandmother, who never got to become the teacher she wanted to be. Girls in Movement is, in a lot of ways, that unfinished dream continued.
I'm based in the UK and I work with corporates, funders, government and founders on the same thing: building communities and partnerships that make a real difference to small businesses.
